About the Site

Students are working at Pratt Institute. Pratt is a private university, and its main campus is located in Clinton Hills Brooklyn. Students are spread throughout the campus working in various departments. They are as follows:

• Cafeteria-serve customers, by filling salad bar orders, prepping the salad bar station, maintaining a clean work station, removing breakfast items in preparation for the lunch session
• Cafeteria-sanitize tables, restock utensils, napkins, drinks, fountain machine and condiments, sweep, mop and disposing of garbage
• Comptroller Dept-scanning, labeling documents scanned into the system, organizing bank statements, reconciling checks
• Registrar's-cross referencing names to student files/documents, shredding, disposal of prior years diplomas, light data entry and scanning
• Mailroom-assisting with checking in mail and packages, sorting the packages into the smart lockers and assisting students at the counter picking up their packages, scanning packages in and out
• Groundskeeping-raking and bagging leaves, digging holes to plant flowers/bushes, collecting garbage from the exterior garbage cans on campus, shoveling snow, salting the floors, winterizing the plants
• Porter-sweeping, mopping, dust mopping, maintaining clean exterior grounds around the dormitory, cleaning bathrooms, disposing of garbage
• Receiving-loading packages onto the truck, delivering packages throughout campus, ensuring packages are signed for
• IT-restocking paper into the copy machines, reloading ink cartridge into the printer, rolling posters and placing them into designated pick up locations, takes inventory and enters data into an excel spreadsheet.
