Worksite Description

P721K students are currently working at the Riviera Hospitality Group, located in Coney Island. The Riviera has been in business since 1895! The facility used to function as a catering hall, hosting weddings and events for over one-hundred years. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Riviera shifted its focus to providing meals for people in need. Each day, the Riviera produces thousands of meals for housing centers throughout the city.

P721K student work within the production room at the Riviera. Students are responsible for:

• Reading invoices to determine items for shipping
• Counting and sorting various items
• Labeling items
• Packing items in containers for shipping
• Breaking-down boxes
• Sweeping/cleaning the work area
• Transporting items from production room to the warehouse for shipping
